We had a wonderful day at the Cofufun Plaza in front of Tenri Station today! ACEF set up an event booth from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, showcasing Kenyan handicrafts, our project activities, and connecting with the local community.
The Cofufun is a unique public space in Tenri City, Nara Prefecture, shaped like ancient Japanese burial mounds (kofun). It regularly hosts community markets and cultural events, making it a perfect venue for sharing ACEF's mission with a wide audience.
Visitors were able to learn about our educational programs in Kenya, browse handmade Kenyan goods, and chat with our volunteers about opportunities to get involved. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by!
